Reincarnation
Introduction:
What is Reincarnation? The definition of Reincarnation is rebirth or transmigration. In religious concepts, every soul is getting a new life in the form of another body when the soul left the current physical body. Different religions had different concepts to explain Reincarnation. Hindus highly believe the Reincarnation. Many of the yogis and other religious scholars had written about Reincarnation stories in their scriptures and books. Like this, there are some Reincarnation stories in Hinduism also. In the world-famous epic Bhagavadgita, Lord Srikrishna clearly mentioned the Reincarnation concept.
Reincarnation/Transmigration in Bhagavadgita:
In the Bhagavadgita Lord, Sri Krishna had clearly explained in Chapter2, Verse13, how the Transmigration of the soul will be done in different stages such as childhood, young age, and old age.
tatha dehantara-praptir dhiras tatra na muhyati||
The meaning(not translations) of this verse is the soul continuously passes from childhood to young, young to old age and at the time of death, the soul passes into another body to continue the process. It means the soul comes from somebody or from somewhere and goes somewhere. so we could understand that our soul is having different forms of body before this physical body, and we will have another birth after death. This is a cycle that repeats forever. If you believe in Reincarnation, the present situations happening to the body or to us is related to the "karma" as we did in the last birth/life.
Ex: What is the proof of Reincarnation?
Swamiji simply replied like this, That was the result of the karma done. He had done some kind of sin/Karma in the previous life so that he carried to the present life.
The soul is different from karma, but both travel in the same way, if the soul travels from one body to other, the karma follows the same. If we perform good karma it will give good results, if you perform bad karma it will give us bad results. Karma follows you in every second.
Some philosophers were believed that there is no life before birth and after death, the present life is only. So do what you want, if you want to be happy by killing someone kill them, do whatever you want to be joyful, because this is the only life to you, if once you dead and burnt you will end, no concept of karma and rebirth but, this thinking is not correct. Eat, drink, and merry, this philosophy is not correct.
We must face the consequences that are doing with this body in the next birth. Every rebirth of the soul had a purpose on this earth. As per the spiritual end, God himself taken rebirth in different bodies with different purposes called Avatara's. Whenever our body does not fit to stay the soul, it will be left the body and go for another one.
In Bhagavadgita Chapter2, Verse27. Lord Krishna says clearly to in one sloka for birth and death.
tasmad apariharye rthe na tvam shochitum arhasi ||
Translation: The one who took birth is sure to die, and take birth again. so you should not lament over the inevitable.
The end of the reincarnation cycle is when you get moksha, like Annamayya and Sriramadasu forex. Moksha is said to be free from reincarnation.
Scientifically we can say that the soul is a kind of energy that we can't destroy like a quote "Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another". We can burn the body but we can't do anything to the soul.
Conclusion:
After death you can take nothing, only good deeds come with you. so be quiet, calm, and try to lead life with pleasure.
