The Birth of Rama as per Ramayana.
The Story Begins from here.
The main source of the Great creation of humans are from the Manuvu.
Ikshvaka dynasty came from the great Manuvu, from this Ikshvaka dynasty,
Maharaja Dhasaradha is ruling the Kosala country with the capital of Ayodhya.
Before Dhasaradha, many great men’s (in the same clan) ruled that area
within the path of dharma and treated all people like their own children’s.
By first they practiced the Varna, ashram, religious, and rituals and showed
it to the world, and dedicated their life’s to the universal well-being of the
world and became heavenly beings. Then Dhasaradha became maharaja.
Their raja priests are Sri Vashishta, and vamadeva.
Kasyapa, suyanjna, gowthama, jabali, are the Priestess under the raja
priest, which are performing the Veda karmas for the wellbeing of the clan.
And for this maharaja, Drusti, Vijaya, Jayantha, Surastra,
Rastravardhana, Anoopa, Dharmapala, Sumanthrulu are the Members of the Cabinet.
In the ruling of the Dhasaradha maharaja. There is no injustice, no
rapes, there are no chance to the wrongful, and Atheist has no eligible to entry
in the Kosala kingdom. Wherever you look, there is the recitation of the Vedas
with Sacred musical instruments.
Thus, the king's rule has brought glory and pathways of fame to the
nations.
Despite having all the wealth and fame, the king suffers a deep pain in
his heart due to the lack of heir.
To alleviate that pain, they consulted with the ministers and priests
and decided to perform the “Ashwamedha Yagna”
The Vashishta priests themselves decided the location on the northern
bank of the Sarayu River for building the sacrificial hall and all efforts are
underway.
They released the horse (Aswam means Horse).
To ensure that, the divine powers remain unobstructed and to prevent any
obstacles from arising, all those who study the Vedas and Vedangas are diligent
and are practicing the sacred Vedic chants without distraction.
After this the king went to the inner palace and spoke to his three
queens—Kausalya, Sumitra, and Kaikeyi. He told them that the three of them
should perform a ritual vow.
At that time, the trusted minister Sumanthra, who was a high-ranking
advisor to the king, went to the king, “A matter that the great sage
Sanathkumara had mentioned is coming to remembrance.” The sage Kashyapa's
descendant, Vibhandaka, and his son, Rishyasringa. This young sage
(Rishyasringa) stayed in the hermitage without stepping outside its boundaries.
He devoted himself to Vedic studies and scriptural practices.
For Rishyasringa, trees, insects, birds, and animals were the only
things he knew; he was unaware of anything else.
If he come here, our actions will be go smoothly without any obstacles.
So, the king Dhasaradha himself went to the angarajyam, after accepting
the hospitality and respect offered by the king, he went to the royal palace,
where he received the honours, and then, listening to the story of Sage
Sanathkumara.
Along with the sages, he took Rishyasringa, Santa and arrived at the
city of Ayodhya.
With immense bliss and peace, the Rishyasringa, Santa are experiencing
the enjoyment and prosperity in the inner chambers of the palace. The royal
family is observing them without any disturbances.
Spring season has arrived.
Following the instructions of the sages, all the sacrificial rituals
were got ready.
Thus, Rishyasringa ascended the seat of Brahma, Vashishta, are present
as officiating priests.
To the people who had come to witness the Yagna, and to those who were
specially invited—royal officials, kings, scholars, and artists—special
arrangements were made.
To everyone, without any difficulty, wealth, grains, clothes, and
jewellery were prosperously provided.
Especially for the offering of food, they arranged the well trained cookers
from the villages.
Without causing any hunger or discomfort, they instructed that the food be
served with a smile.
Friends from various regions and countries have come together, Honors are
being given to everyone.
Summer, spring, autumn, and winter seasons have passed, again, the spring
season has arrived.
In the sacrificial hall, the Vedic chants are continuously resonating, the
offering of food (or distribution of food) is happening continuously. The word
hunger are not heard in the sacrificial halls, as work is being carried out.
Serve with pleasure, Eat with pleasure, here are clothes, here are riches,
here are precious jewels. Such charity is righteousness wherever it is practiced.
Everyone who came there, all of them said 'enough, enough (to the food), but
none said 'I need more.
It felt as though Goddess Saraswati herself appeared in person there. All
the deities were satisfied.
Then from that Yagna Kundam, One who possesses great physical strength and
vitality, resembles a lion's mane, adorned with a crown of hair, resembling the
peak of a great mountain, shines with the radiance of the sun, with Krishnambara.
The great soul has appeared. With the
deep sound of the thundercloud. O Dhasaradha….Here, accept the rich,
health-giving Kheer.
Give this Kheer to your wife’s, those who eat this (food) will be blessed
and will have virtuous descendants. Then he disappeared
Dhasaradha maharaja took that food vessel and went to the inner palace, half
of the Kheer had given to Kausalya, Half of the remainder Sumitra, Divide what
is available into two parts, He divided what he had into two parts and gave one
portion to Kaikeyi and the other to Sumitra.
A year has passed, and once again, spring has arrived then, these three,
gave offspring to four.
To the eldest, they named him Rama, to the second, they named him Bharata,
to the third, they named him Lakshmana, and to the fourth, they named him
Shatrughna.
