People of all Indians, prayers to the sun for centuries. Suryanamaskar or Sun salutation is an ancient Indian tradition of paying respects with different postures to the sun. It is having more health benefits for females.

     Suryanamaskar means:

In Indian Tradition and Beliefs, the Surynamaskar is also called Dwadasa Suryanamaskar which is an Indian ancient tradition followed for centuries. Suryanamaskar or SunSalutation is a practice of praying and paying respects to the Sun. It is a powerful yoga practice having different postures called asanas.

    Benefits of Suryanamaskar:

3. Om Suryaya Namaha -        Pada Hastasana(Standing forward bend)

4. Om Bhanave Namaha -       Ashwa Sanchalanasana(Equestrian pose)

5. Om Khagaya Namaha -      Parvatasana(Plank pose)

6. Om Pushne Namaha -        Ashtanga Namaskara (Eight limbed pose)

7. Om Hiranya Garbhaya -      Namaha Bhujangasana (Cobra pose)

8. Om Marichaye Namaha -    Parvatasana (mountain pose)

9. Om Adityaya Namaha -     Ashwa Sanchalanasana(low lunge pose)

Suryanamaskar is performed early in the morning, before starting the yoga ensure the stomach is empty, each Sun Salutation are having two sets and is composed of 12 yoga poses.

The scientific reason is during the early morning from the east, we can see the sun directly with our naked eyes which is very helpful to improve vitamins to improve our vision.
