When will you Die




Introduction:

I am not talking about Hell and Heaven whether there are existing are not. It totally depends on the faith and culture which you believe.

Sattvanurupa saarvasya sradhaa bhavathi bharatha|

Sraddha-mayo yam puruso yo yac-charddah sa eva sah||

The meaning of this sloka is said in Bhagavadgita.

Each and every human being in the world is having different modes of faith, not regarding what he is. Faith will be manifested according to Sattva Guna in everyone and everywhere. Humans are made up of faith, the nature of the human being will completely depend on the faith in which he beliefs.

So everything is completely based on faith and belief. In this introduction part, I am talking about when will you die according to Hindu Garudapuranam. I am not writing the whole Garudapuranam. That was a huge topic to explain. so here is the overview.

1. When will you die:

When will you die and how will you get to notice the bereavement.

Four signs are given by the Lord Yama (Ruler of the Hell) to everyone, that you are reaching the end of your life, by identifying the 4 signs we can assume when will you die, and how the death is reaching you in stages.

  • Hair will get turned into grey/white color.
  • You will lose your teeth.
  • Eyes will get dim and blind, and the last sign is.
  • paralyzed the entire body(it means on the bed).
  • There is a small story behind the four signs.

2. How the Garudapuranam came into existence:

In general, people who listen to the Garudapuranam will have three opinions.

Reading of Garudapuranam for ten days in the home,  if any one of the family people expired.

They believe that person in the family will be lost if the Garudapuranam is at home.

Garudapuranam should be read-only in the daytime.

These are considered superstitions by some intellectuals because they are not having scientific evidence, and some believe as real, regarding their faiths and culture as previously told a sloka in Bhagavadgita.

Garudapuranam is having with 293 chapters. So this is called Garuda Maha Puranam, if anyone expired they will read only up to 16 chapters.

The Saint Sutji had told about the Garudapuranam to Shaunak(sage) at nimisaaranyam.

3.How the Garudapuranam Commence:

Vyasamaharshi said to sutji about the Garudapuranam. Garuda asked Lordvishnu about his mother to become immortal, a Purana on her name and finally becoming amount. That purana is called as MahaGaruda puranam. Lord Vishnu said to Bhrama and shiva, Bhrama to Narada, Daksha, Prajapati and Vyaasamaharshi. finally, Vyaasamaharshi said to his students and wrote MahaGaruda Puranam.

4. About Garudapuranam:

Garudapuranam tells the answers about, that how this universe is started, who did it, how it ends, and who is the supreme of the universe, and how many avatars to supreme/almighty.

The Lord Vishnu is the ultimate almighty to this universe, Lord Vishnu had taken 21 Avataras till now, Rama, Krishna, Balaram, and the 21st avatar are Budha. His 22nd Avatar is Kalki, He will bear to Vishnuyasha Brahmin with the name of Kalki at the end of the kali yuga, he will extricate the world from the sinners.

Garudapuranam states that Lord Vishnu explains from how the universe starts, and ends with, about the human borns and expires, and what is about the panchalakshna's, what happens after death, traditions to follow after the death rituals.

Bhagavadgita also explained what will happen after a person expires, but more explained in the Garudapuranam.

5. Punishments:

Some of the deadly punishments that are told by the Almighty Vishnu in Garudapuranam are discussed below.

Heaven is at the upper astral the atmosphere of the physical North pole, and Hell is at the astral atmosphere South pole.

Hell is fully surrounded by the messengers of Yama. Yama is the lord of death, he is the ruler of Hell. there is no word of joy in Hell.

This is the terrible place for giving punishments to the matter of sins done by the expired people souls, is hardly punished here. Very extreme punishments are there to experience.

There are 4lakhs of Hell's in total, in that 28 Hell's are very terrible.

People thought that these punishments are all fake because there is no pain or sense to the soul. But they will provide a new body to experience the punishments. If the body is spoiled without completing the punishment, again they will give another body to continue.

1. Tamisram: It is for the people who stoled others wealth are. they thrash until they bleed and faint and they do the same up to the punishment time ends

2.Andhatamtrasam:  This is for the cheated husbands and wives, they punish like the Tamisram but punished until there, the punishment ends

3. Raurmava: This is was built for the people who have enjoyed others properties, will be punished by the big serpent until the punishment ends.

4. Maharaaruravam: This for the people who stoles others wives and lovers will be sent here,  this is also the same punishments as Rauravam but nonstop.

5. Kumbhipakam: This punishment is boiled oil in huge vessels for the sinners who killed the animals for joy/pleasure are plunged into that.

6. Kalasutram: The people who don't respect their parents or elders are thrown into the fire.

7. Asitapatram: This is for the people who do not do their own works or duties are hanged with hook and rope, that hook is hooked to their skin, and throw the rock petals until they faint, after recovering the same is repeated.

8. Sukramukham: The rulers who misrule the people are getting into this hell.

9. Puyodakam: The persons who cheated the women/men in the name of marriage. There is a well that consists of urine, blood, phlegm, excreta, the sinners are thrown into this well up to the punishment time ends.
